NaNoWriMo!!!!

I haven't posted anything in a while, so why shouldn't I start off re-writing by commenting on this awesome event that happens once a year? This annual struggle (yeah, it's a struggle, but it's an AWESOME struggle) that unites writers from across the planet in a month of craziness, fun, and tons of writing.
Yeah, I'm talking about writing 50,000 words in a month. Writing an entire novel in a month. It's amazingly fun for those of us that like being crazy and doing the extreme. Heck, it's even fun for those of us who DON'T like being crazy and doing the extreme. It doesn't matter who you are: if you like writing and/or want to get published someday, PARTICIPATE IN NANOWRIMO.
So I'm saying this about 10 days late... I started 10 days late last year and still won. And even if I hadn't won, if I had reached 45K or 30K or even just 10K, that's 45K or 30K or even 10K more than I would have written.

So since I'm an expert at rambling on during blog posts, I'm going to ramble on about my novel for this year's NaNoWriMo!
Hell is starting to crumble. There have been too many complaints to count, a couple riots, and a Festival quickly turned into an event of death! (Yes, you CAN have your soul destroyed in the afterlife) There's just too much for Lucifer to take, so he sends off two of his demon minions, Wormwood and Yetarel, to stop a revival breaking out on earth. The two of them, after all, haven't been helping him much when it comes to restoring Hell, so he has to give them SOMETHING to do, right?
But not all is well. Wormwood quickly starts to remember things of his past that he'd rather remain hidden. After all, it's not comforting that he's on a trip with a demon that murdered his own father. Even though the two are even, it doesn't quench the loathing the two have for each other.
And Lucifer's having a few issues. The man directly below him is trying to take his job. Sooooo... now he's stuck in the Shadow Lands and he's completely lost.

That's where I am in the story right now. There's also a beast that is possibly even more powerful then Lucifer, the devil, and there might just be a conspiracy going on somewhere.

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT MY NOVEL, THIS POST IS ABOUT NANOWRIMO.

So, if you consider yourself a writer, GO JOIN NANOWRIMO RIGHT NOW. And if you don't have the time, IT DOESN'T MATTER.
Oh, but for the regular site (www.nanowrimo.org), you have to be 13. If you are younger than 13, you can adjust your word goal from 50,000 to whatever you want it to be, you lucky duckies. Anyways, the site for babies-18 year olds if they want is www.ywp.nanowrimo.org

SO GO TO NANOWRIMO, OR I'LL GET THE NANOWRIMO SONG STUCK IN YOUR HEAD.

It IS an awesome song, btw. I highly suggest you listen to it. It's just that awesome.

Truly yours,

Smartiez101 (that's mah NaNo and YWP username)
or
Beth (not really)
